The Entwined Swan known as "Hansa Puttuwa" is a traditional Sri Lankan Sinhalese wood carving masterpiece which could be seen among ancient Ceylonese carvings and murals specially at Kandy Ambekke Dewalaya which was was build during the reign of King Vikramabahu - III (AD 1357). Ancient craftsmen used this art for wood carvings, paper carvings, brass carvings, ivory carvings and paintings. This is built and painted in a manner which can be preserved for a very long time. This Motif signifies the unity and prosperity and it's a fully handmade wooden wall art from Sri Lanka. This can also be used to appreciate the elegance and beauty of woman along with the majestic masculinity of a man and in essence. It is believed that these carvings will strengthen the bond between family members and partners. This is the best substitute of artificial wall decorations and it also resonates your vision. This is the perfect wall décor for your living room, bed room or holiday resort. You can gift this to your partner as an appreciation for their support, loyalty and effort throughout your life journey. This will also be the perfect wedding gift and can be used as a unique valentine gift for your partner. I have designed and hand carved a replica of the original "Hansa Puttuwa" motif with a unique border frame inspired by traditional leaf petals known as " Pala Pethi" carved out of the same wood piece using my traditional carving tools. Thickness of the carving is 2.8CM and the carving is made on Mahogany wood.
